I thought you were just taking pictures of these guys. Not, actually doing work on them. That's cool. I would be interested in seeing your whole set up.

Thanks, glad you liked it. As soon as I can catch up from around this place I will provide more photos. I mostly study insects in the wild and dead. I do not raise any except I may start with a few beetles when they are ready to be purchased.
I enjoy looking for parasitic infestation and how clever this group can be. I would love to figure out how to eliminate the fire ant on our farm, but that will never happen.
If possible one goal I have is to raise and release Dynastes tityus back on this property.

Yeah, I think introducing Dynastes tityus back on the property would be cool. However, like you said, forget about getting rid of the fire ants. They reproduce at a extremely high rate and it would be nearly impossible.
