Gotta love X. corallipes! What other species do you have pinned there? Do you collect orthops casually or is that a group you tend to go for?
I like them a lot, I don't usually look for them intentionally, I came upon the X. corallipes this yeaar down the road, they are pretty neat. I am not much of an orthoptera expert, I do like the katydids too. To answer your question, casually, I focus most on moths.
#Microcentrum rhombifolium
#X. corallipes
#Neoconocephalus sp.
#Not sure
#Trimerotropsis sp.??? Or Spharagemon sp.
#X. corallipes(a different one)
#Not sure, it's very large

Your 2 unknowns are both Melanoplus, the first one likely M. femurrubrum.
I think you have Spharagemon sp., but I'll double check my Oedipodinae book later.

Yes it is! It's definitely in need of taxonomic refinement, but who knows when that will happen. I believe Daniel Otte is working on a big guide with some reworkings of the genus, but who know when that will come out.
