Hello all, I would like to announce the newest "feature" on our forum. The classifieds ADs, area is now been changed a little. Instead of making a post on the forum of something your selling, you can now make a actual AD. If you click on the market place board. You will see four new boards. Click on the one that best relates to what you are selling and hit, (New Topic) From here just fill out your information, pictures of what your selling, etc.

You may have noticed that it asks for an address. For anyone concerned about this, I will make it so only registered users can see this information. Also, I am going to be adding a (review) area. This way a person can review the person they bought from, and future buyers know if he is a trusted seller.

And last, but not least, I believe most of us understand what can and cannot be shipped. However the rules for that section will be coming soon for anyone who wishes to browse through them for better understanding.

Thanks

Oh, I honestly would prefer it if the address information was kept completely private, I don't really need people who I'm not selling to to know my address lol. You can still post ads the old way too, right?

Sorry, forgot to say you can just leave the address space empty as well if you would like. You still can do it the old way if that's what you wish to do. However the new way is much easier. You would have to try it to see why I say that. Very Happy

Take note, the ADs wont show up in the latest topics box. I will actually make a latest classified ADs box below the latest topics for that once people use them. It will be a slide show feature showing the picture, title and price of the AD. So it will be visible to anyone who ever comes on the forum.

Thanks for the info! Smile Ended up making a normal old-style ad, since the newer one wouldn't let me leave the address info blank, and because I'm selling roaches and isopods, (and may have beetles available in the future), so I didn't really want to create two different ads in two different places.

That's why I left the old option up. However you could have put "void" or something in its place and you should have been able to continue. Either way is ok though.

Oh, I see, I was trying to leave it completely empty, didn't think typing in "void" or something would work. Thanks for the info! Smile
