Hi, I live in Northern Indiana. I am a high school student and am very interested in entomology.
My collection has around 550 specimens, butterflies, moths, beetles, most other orders of insects from here and around the world.
I also raise lots of lepidoptera.
This past summer I raised:
Saturniidae
Hyalophora cecropia
Antheraea polyphemus
Antheraea pernyi
Actias luna
Callosamia promethea
Citheronia splendens
Automeris io
Automeris zephyria
Papilionidae
Papilio zelicaon
Nymphalidae
Speyeria cybele leto

I also kept some copris fricator for awhile and also a chinese mantis.

I currently have some eggs of Anisomorpha buprestoides.

I am hoping to learn more about breeding beetles, I would lov to raise Lucanus elaphus and Dynastes tityus.

I should mention my main collecting interests.
Worldwide: Eacles silkmoths, and most other silkmoths. Goliathus, Odontolabis and cetoniidae.
Native: Buying/trading/catching Speyeria (Fritillaries), catching all native butterflies (except not much lycaenidae), some native beetles (Tiger beetles and scarabs are my favorite), moths: Saturniidae, Sphingidae, Arctiidae, Erebidae, Noctuidae (Catocala (Underwings)and Papaipema (borers)).
Do you collect any of these?

Some can be seen in my avatar
All in my avatar are in my collection
