Yeah, google pics match perfectly, other than the color part of it like you said.
I don't think so. The pics I have seen seem to have the larger end with the head and the smaller end with the abdomen. To me, yours looks like the opposite (might not be the case). Looks more to me like a soldier beetle larva.

I'd say no, since they are predatory I'd keep them separately. A small deli cup filled with an inch or so of coconut fiber should work, these guys like to burrow. Offer pre-killed prey such as mealworms, roaches or crickets.
