Don`t go out and buy one of these unless you find a good one. I use this Simpson thermo meter often which goes way back in time. This analog meter has three probes which you can check temperatures in three locations just by flipping the switch from one-three.
The test leads can be placed in an oven at full steam, so if you need to check very high temperatures and very low temperatures the leads will not melt.
Under my tongue I usually get 97-99 F., and mostly 98 f. I continue to use this instrument because I have it and I do know that it is way more accurate than a few temperature indicators that came from the other place.
