I noticed that there were no threads about scorpions so I decided to make a thread about what I do to take care of my scorp.
First off, please don't trust my advice, I did a bunch of dumb thing such as putting a inch long scorpling in a 5.5 gallon tank but he's eating so he's fine.
I keep him in a 5.5 gallon tank with a vita sand and coco fiber substrate.  I use a 60 watt Daytime bulb with a regular heat lamp.  I recommend using something with
A lower wattage but my get in the low sixties during the day so it raises it to a toasty 84 degrees.  The recommended temp for them is 75-85 degree Fahrenheit.
I find it that they're much more active when there is a light on during the day and is in the high sixties at night.  I feed him a large cricket every week (feeding day is in Thursday)
And provide a cap filled with de-chlorinated water every week of so.  That's really it actually, great first scorpion and rather fast and aggressive.  My Hoffmannius spinigerus scorpion Img_1210My Hoffmannius spinigerus scorpion Img_1212My Hoffmannius spinigerus scorpion Img_1111

I generally give all my critters water 24/7. Nice looking scorpion. Cool

i forgot to mention this, but i spray his enclosure usually once a month. that pretty much puts the risk of mycosis out the window.
