Now my grandson is afraid of everything. What to do?

That depends on whether he finds insects interesting despite being afraid of them. Fear is easy to cure with education and exposure, but that's difficult if he isn't interested in learning about insects to begin with. Apathy is a bigger problem than phobia.

More than likely he could grow out of most of it over time with exposure. Phobias can be all over the place and are rather common for some people.
