Honey bees everywhere

I have not seen a honey bee all summer long, however now in November when i have never seen a honey bee at this time of year and  at this time of year here things are typically frozen... honey bees are about flying everywhere... hundreds of them in all different areas? Where did these guys come from... I thought there was a shortage? Cans of soda have 100 or money honey bees on them each and I have provided random photos of them as well!

After the nectar sources stop and there is cold weather, honey bees stay in the hive until spring. They do not leave any during the winter because they would quickly freeze (at least in places that have cold winters). However, if there is a warm day they will come out and search for some water to drink. This is what is happening in the second photo. Honeybees must drink water to live. They also leave the hive to go to the bathroom, sometimes they cannot hold it the whole winter and they will fly out in the dead of winter and then die. Wild honey bees overwinter in hollow trees mostly. I am unsure why you haven't seen any this year because I saw hundreds.

Honey is the only food source that contains everything necessary to sustain life, including water. I read that somewhere and found it really interesting. I know it is antiseptic, antibacterial, and anti-fungal.

Yes. Honey is pretty amazing. Another amazing feature is that it will never ferment like other sugars. That is the only thing that bees eat (except the queen). This year my family and I got 12 gallons of honey from our three hives. This is the first we have gotten from having the hives 4 years. Worth the wait!
