Hello! I am a mom and have begun enjoying insects with my children. My five year old daughter wants to be an entomologist when she grows up. Technically all the bugs in our home are hers.

I am new to this hobby and you will have to forgive any stumbling I may do with names and Latin names.

Our collection consists of:

4 Asbolus verrucosus- two female, two male
1 Arillus cristatus-female
1 unknown large black darkling beetle-unknown sex
1 unknown small black darkling beetle-unknown sex
unknown number of unknown isopods-unknown sex
1 House centipede(running loose in house)-unknown sex

and 2 Beta splenda and 1 Comet goldfish

If you are on arachnoboards.com you will see my post about our centipede lol, same username there!

I forgot one!

1 Lophocampa caryae in cocoon-unknown sex

This one my son found as a caterpillar and we succeeded in getting it to pupate, now we patiently wait for its emergence.
