Odontolabis is such a neat genus. I'm hoping to get Cyclommatus metallifer someday, whichever subspecies is cheapest lol.

Thanks! Cyclommatus are cool too. Not quite as big although the mandibles are much larger compared to the body. I also like the Dorcus species.

Well I don`t have any, large beetles that is, but I hope to have a couple of Dynastes t sometimes a little latter this year I guess. Since this species lives in the eastern U.S. they will be nice to have around.

Dorcus are really neat too. I used to have a couple D. titanus and pinned them up after they died.

It's always a treat to see D. tityus, Insect Rod! They're pretty rare here in Illinois, but I've gotten lucky and found them a couple times.

Cool, the only Dorcus I have are a pair of D. parallelus I caught. They are pretty cool though, the male is 26mm, a nice size for this species.
