From what I researched, it seems the African mound-building termite queen can live 60 years. Also, insects known as cicada can live 17 years. Anyway, most insects only live a year or so, but long-living animals, in general, are a surprising subject. In fact, they say some jellyfish can technically regenerate themselves for what might be an eternity.

How long an insect can live will be all over the place, which in the larva stages can be years and a lot of that will depend on soil conditions, temperature, food and other extremes such as diseases etc., etc.
Most adult insects life is usually short, eat, breed and then usually die in a few months or less. The timing of insect deaths is generally constant over normal conditions.
