It seems like the fear is exaggerated and silly. Note, bees, wasps and the like won't sting unless attacked - and an attack is simply getting too close to them (or one). Anyway, it seems like that's their space, so why not respect it?

They are more scared of us then we are scared of them to be honest. if we don't bother them they wont bother you.

But why is it that people can't see that? I think a lot of it has to do with preconceived notions.

I guess it more of the way they look that scares me and grosses them out i dont blame them but they are more scared of us
