These are what I believe are soldier beetle larvae. I am looking to raise them to adults and make a habitat for them. I will try feeding them some larvae of other insects or something like smaller insects.

Here is what I am keeping them in until they turn into adults. I ran a few tests. I found they like Fish Flakes which is pretty handy. Very Happy

I would keep a couple of them separate in case they cannibalize pupae.

I kept them all in a tiny container together for a few days. They never harmed each other then. I am hoping as long as I keep them well fed there will be no issues.

So, I am curious as to one of them is going into pupae stage? He has been in the same spot for a day now while the others are out and about eating. Anyone here have much beetle keeping experience? Have any thoughts? In the photo he is on the right side in the soil.

Could be ready to pupate, beetle larvae often burrow down and enter a period of inactivity before they pupate. I am a little worried though that the substrate may not be deep enough to construct a proper pupal cell...

That's a soldier beetle. Just a species that mimics fireflies.
